Keep All Your Misery...

Have some serious issues regarding the treatment of one of the Big Brother contestants this year

Yeah, I watch Big Brother, JUDGE ME.

So there is a girl in the house called Josie and she is probably a UK 16/18. She works it and imo is pretty, funny and amusing.

She has happened to get into a bit of a thing with the house ‘heart throb’, John James. For ages we saw her struggle with their relationship, thinking he couldn’t possibly be interested in her like that, etc etc. But watching it, it is clear that he does, despite there being lots of slim, pretty, model-esque girls in there. At the beginning one girl was activately trying to cop off with him, but he actually said the way she talked about herself and potrayed herself was really unattractive.

Anyway, I am rambling. What is REALLY pissing me off, is that everyone who doesn’t like Josie, who accuse her of being manipulative, a stalker etc, feel the need to bring her weight into it. She can’t be an annoying cow, she is an annoying FAT cow. She can’t be manipulative, she is an manipulative HEFFER. (I am getting these from the twitter hash tag, one was actually to me, by a ‘friend’. Yeah, re-thinking that friendship) She was called a fat slag by one of the other contestants, to her face the other day. I was in a conversation with people from work and they were all saying how John James was too good for her. I kept pressing the point, why? They obviously didn’t answer but it was obvious what they were thinking, because she is not a size ten, she doesn’t deserve to be liked by someone who is a pretty boy. I actually said, ‘oh why, because she is fat?’ Cue the uncomfortable slience because they got called out by another fatty.

I admit, the last few years I have stopped watching Big Brother. It turned from legit social experiment but vapid, fame hungry monsters all vying for 5 minutes of un-earned fame.  But yeah, this series I am watching, because I am all about the love story which is challenging people’s perceptions of beauty. I just wish people weren’t such dicks about it, but then its what we have to deal with everyday. I least I get to call people out on it.
